Two of those involved with the event which brought together search and rescue coordinators from across the Caribbean and Bermuda have been giving their views on how it went.
The workshop was run by the Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA) as part of its Overseas Territories Search and Rescue (OTSAR) project through the Conflict, Stability and Security Fund (CSSF) which is funded by the UK Government.
