The new deputy director of the Virgin Islands Shipping Registry says he’s honoured to take on the role.
Deputy Director Shaamuoy A Baronville brings a wealth of maritime expertise to what is a significant role. He has served in various maritime capacities previously, including roles at the British Virgin Islands Port Authority.
He has a Master’s Degree in Maritime Administration and Logistics.
Shaamuoy said: “I am honoured to serve as the first Deputy Director of the Virgin Islands Shipping Registry.
“This role allows me to utilise my maritime skills and knowledge to contribute to the growth of the BVI's marine industry and also as part of the wider Red Ensign Group.
“My goal is to enhance the department by leveraging technology to streamline processes and systems, providing an improved customer experience and supporting the overall development and success of the department."
